New Blog, who dis?

So, I've decided to start a blog. Or perhaps it'll be more of an online journal.

But why? And why might you be interested in subscribing to it?

Well, I'll start by saying that this is mostly a selfish endeavour. It's selfish because I've found immense benefits in sitting down on writing about the things I'm learning and doing on a regular basis.

It helps me retain and make sense of the things I'm learning, and it helps me remain 'present' and aware of the things I'm doing.

I also really like the idea of being able to look back over years worth of thoughts and ideas and lessons as I grow through life. This is my space to do that.

However, I've also chosen to do this publicly. Instead of keeping a private journal that's stuffed into my bookcase or under my bed, I thought that if anything I write here can bring value to anyone else, then it's worth sharing online.

As I write, I'll be treating it very much like a private journal – as though no one else will ever read it. Doing this will allow me to write as freely and honestly as I would in private.

Saying that, I also hope that you will read it and glean any value you can from it.

What will I be writing about?

Broadly speaking, I'll be writing about "things that allow me to live a more fulfilled, meaningful and impactful life", and my key interests are (not limited to) entrepreneurship, personal development, technology, fitness, marketing and finance.

In recent years I've found myself actively avoiding ending up inside any kind of a 'box', or having any specific 'label'.

As a result, I am not just a marketer, or a consultant, or a writer or anything else. I am me and these are the things I'm interested in. This will likely evolve over time.

Anyway, that's all from me for now. Thank you for reading my first article. I hope you'll join me as we grow through life together.

Your friend,

Jonah
